The RVision Carbide 16™ pan/tilt camera is another member of the RVision family of rugged and compact cameras. Manufactured from Aluminum and engineered to exacting standards, it is ideally suited for deployment in harsh environmental conditions. Motors driving the pan/tilt functions provide near-silent performance with improved repeatability for presets and go-to targets. The integrated slip ring allows for continuous 360° pan rotation. The RVision BigFoot™ Mil-Spec connection method provides rugged and quick mechanical and electrical attachment of the camera to enhance tactical installations. The BigFoot™ system is compatible with many other mounts, cables and accessories available for integration in the RVision camera family. The C16™ oers two color camera options for SD and HD video and has the option of adding an optical doubler for enhanced range. The thermal camera is available with an uncooled 640 x 512 Vanadium Oxide sensor with a 17 micron pitch and multiple lens options. See the Cooled C16 Specication for cooled thermal solutions.

Currently offered as an analog solution, options such as IP H.264 streaming, and payloads such as laser range finders or laser dazzlers can be considered to fit in the present format.

Fully loaded, this nearly silent platform boasts an overall weight of less than 22 lbs. Without sensors, the main pan/tilt body is just 10.5 lbs. Using RVision’s BigFoot connection method, the C16 is compatible with all cables used by the Dual HP.
