Advanced Thermal Imaging for Military Applications
The DJI Matrice 30T Thermal is the perfect tool for military applications. Equipped with an advanced thermal imaging camera, it can capture high-resolution thermal images with a maximum resolution of 640 x 512. The camera can detect temperature differences as small as 0.03°C, making it an indispensable tool for search and rescue operations, border patrol, and other military applications.
Professional-Grade Flight Performance for Tactical Operations
Designed with military and defence applications in mind, the DJI Matrice 30T Thermal delivers professional-grade flight performance. With a maximum flight time of 30 minutes and a top speed of 57 km/h, this drone allows military personnel to cover large areas quickly and efficiently. The drone's 3-axis gimbal stabilization system ensures smooth and stable footage, even in windy conditions. Plus, the DJI Matrice 30T Thermal can fly at altitudes of up to 7,000 meters above sea level, giving military personnel a bird's eye view of their surroundings.
Intelligent Flight Modes and Safety Features for Mission Success
The DJI Matrice 30T Thermal comes equipped with a range of intelligent flight modes and safety features that make it easy to fly and operate, even in challenging environments. The drone's Obstacle Avoidance system uses sensors to detect and avoid obstacles in its flight path, while the ActiveTrack feature allows military personnel to track moving subjects with ease. Additionally, the DJI Matrice 30T Thermal features a Return-to-Home function that automatically brings the drone back to its starting point if it loses signal or encounters low battery levels.
DJI Matrice 30T Camera
The DJI M30T features a tremendously powerful set of sensors, comparable to the capabilities of the H20T camera. For example, the M30T features a 48-megapixel zoom camera with 16x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom. In addition, sits a 12-megapixel Wide camera. We also know the Laser Rangefinder with a range ban 1200m from the DJI Zenmuse H20T camera. The 4th sensor in the M30T is a 640x512px Thermal Imaging camera. Even though the sensors are similar to the H20T, it has become vastly smaller( from 828 grams for a H20T to 320 grams for the M30T camera) DJI achieved this by moving the ISP(Image Signal Processing) Chip from the gimbal to inside the Matrice 30T drone. This allowed the camera to be a lot smaller but also required as many as 96 cables through a 6mm hole to get all the sensors and images from the gimbal to the ISP. Solving this challenge is one of the reasons the DJI M30T became so compact.
A Robust Platform
The DJI Matrice 30T can be seen as the little brother of the Matrice 300, so it is no surprise that despite its more compact size, the DJI M30T is a tremendously powerful and reliable platform. The DJI Matrice 30T boasts an IP55 Rating, allowing it to withstand the most extreme (weather) conditions. The aircraft is deployable in temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees and can handle as much as 15 m/s of wind. Its top speed is 23 m/s. The M30T is also packed with (redundant) sensors. For example, the DJI Matrice 30T is equipped with an FPV camera that has a special low-light mode, so that even in the dark you still have good visibility to orient yourself. Like the Matrice 300, the DJI M30T features obstacle detection on all sides, redundant sensors and backup systems, and the DJI Matrice 30T is capable of performing a 3-propeller emergency landing. As many as 4 antennas, combined with the OccuSync 3 video protocol, ensure that the connection continues to work in all conditions.
Foldable design
The DJI Matrice 30T has a compact design that is easily foldable. The arms fold with a Quick release system. When you unfold them, they automatically snap into place. To fold them, all you have to do is press the latch on the arm to release it and fold it again. In terms of landing gear, the DJI M30T is very similar to a Mavic. Instead of a large landing gear, the camera is on the front instead of under the drone and the M30T lands on small feet at the bottom. This also saves another extra operation with preparing the M30T, making it ready to fly in less than 1 minute!
TB30 Batteries
The DJI Matrice 30T uses a new type of battery: the DJI TB30. By using 2 TB30 batteries at the same time, the DJI M30T is not only redundant in terms of batteries, but you can also Hot Swap them. This allows you to swap batteries one at a time for a new set, without having to reboot the M30T. As a result, you can resume your flight immediately after the battery change. These batteries are also made of a new chemical composition called Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide. Among other things, this ensures that the TB30 batteries last at least 400 cycles. With a set of 2 TB30 batteries, the DJI M30T flies a whopping 41 minutes.
Data Security
The DJI Matrice 30T has taken over many data features from the Matrice 300, including the ability to install updates offline without connecting to the Internet. Local Data Mode and the ability to provide the SD card with AES encryption are also standard features of the DJI M30T.
DJI RC Plus
With the release of the DJI Matrice 30T, a new remote also came out. The DJI RC Plus. This remote is specially made for the most demanding pilots. The DJI RC Plus features a 7-inch touchscreen with a brightness of no less than 1200 Nits. As a result, the screen is always easy to read, even in full sunlight. In addition, this is the first DJI remote with an IP rating. The IP 54 rating ensures that the remote can be used without problems in wind and weather, even with rain. In addition to the standard buttons like the joysticks and camera wheels, there are also 6 buttons placed next to the screen. These can themselves be linked to various functions. So you can put functions such as switching between cameras, and settings or displaying the map directly under a hotkey, without having to touch the screen. Like DJI's Smart Controller Enterprise, the DJI RC Plus is powered by a WB37 battery. In addition, the RC Plus also has a built-in battery, so this WB37 can also be swapped out while flying without any problems. In terms of connections, the DJI RC Plus features a Micro SD, USB, HDMI and USB-C connection.
